The Old Home Motel was built in 1960 by Joe and Juanita Richardson. It features a swimming pool and single or double bedrooms all at a low cost. Joe and Juanita were like family to the infamous Sheriff Buford Pusser. It was in Room 110 that the sheriff lived for over four months in the 1970s when fire damaged his home. Ms. Juanita still runs the hotel to this day and visitors enjoy seeing photos and hearing her stories about Sheriff Pusser.
