Sheriff's Challenge 10k - $30
T-Shirt, Water Bottle, & Goodie Bag included with registration.
All funds will benefit Big Hill Pond State Park and McNairy County Tourism.

6:00am Check in
8:00am Race starts

Please arrive early as this gives you plenty of time to park, pick up your
packet, and get warmed up.

What to Bring
Drivers License or Photo ID
Towel & extra (dry) clothes

What not to bring
Outside food and drink (racers, fuel for the race is OK)

Big Hill Pond State Park, 1435 John Howell Rd, Pocahontas, TN

Registration
Pavilion past campground.

Parking
Signs will be posted toward the campground. Staff will be posted to help you with parking.

Race Information

One Mile Fun Walk
​

​Walk 1 Mile
The one-mile fun walk will include a t-shirt (can not be guaranteed for any registrations after 4-18-19), the walk will take place on the pavement, and the walk will not be timed.

Big Hill Trail Run 5K
​Sprint Distance is, 3.4 miles
The Big Hill Trail Run features a mix of paved trail and dirt paths throughout Big Hill Pond State Park. The steep ascents and descents are on pavement. The final ascent is on paved road.

​The Sheriff's Challenge 10K
​Sprint Distance is: 6.8 miles
The Sheriff's course is intended to be a challenge and will be hosted and mapped by McNairy County Sheriff Guy Buck and his team. The race will run alongside the circumference of the breath-taking Travis McNatt Lake at Big Hill Pond State Park. The six-mile course will be marked to navigate with ease. The race will require self-sufficiency and varying terrain with forest trails, areas or mud, and rock.
